Every client that works with me on their Carroll County driving under the influence case is encouraged to enroll in and complete an alcohol assessment and treatment program prior to going to court.  If you don’t do this and are found guilty after trial or as part of a plea agreement with the Carroll County State’s Attorney’s Office, then the court will order you to complete an assessment and treatment as part of your criminal sentence.

Typically, a first time DUI offender in Carroll County will be recommended to complete a 12 hour alcohol education program.  Sometimes, more treatment is necessary depending on the outcome of your DUI assessment.  The next level of treatment would be a 26 week program.
