Answering these questions not only gives the police officer incriminating evidence but also gives him all the more reason to ask you to exit your vehicle and perform the standard field sobriety tests.

So when you’re asked the questions above, just be very courteous and polite, and remain silent.  Or, if you must say anything, then say that you would like to be able to speak to your attorney before asking any questions.
