Vernon Treuth is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in the military and legal domains. With seven years of service in the United States Army, Vernon excelled as a soldier in the Military Police Corps, where he conducted basic law enforcement activities encompassing military, federal, and state laws, as well as crime prevention, investigation, force protection, and traffic control at his designated installation. During a 15-month deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2008, Vernon garnered multiple accolades, including the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Combat Action Badge, Army Good Conduct Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and Overseas Ribbon.

Post his military tenure, Vernon pursued higher education, obtaining an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Howard Community College and an American Bar Association Paralegal Certificate from the Community College of Baltimore County. His academic prowess was recognized with his induction into the Lambda Epsilon Chi National Honor Society for Legal/Paralegal Studies in 2019. A testament to his unwavering commitment, Vernon graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2022, further attesting to his expertise in the legal sphere.

Vernon brings forth extensive proficiency in various legal disciplines, having gained experience in family law, personal injury law, trusts & estates, and criminal law. He is also a member of the Maryland Association of Paralegals, Inc. and the Nation Association of Legal Assistants (NALA).

Currently residing in Westminster, Maryland with his two children, Vernon maintains an active lifestyle, engaging in pursuits such as weightlifting, running, range shooting, hiking, airsoft, and both playing and coaching softball.
